Close your eyes and think for a second about one of your best moments. The day you met the love of your life, being with your family for the holidays, or a simple afternoon you spend with family and friends.
Feel that? That glimmer inside of you, that makes your heart glow? It’s amazing to be human and have these moments accessible to us when we need them, and honestly the most valuable thing in life.
That’s where the name Little Lights comes from. The “little moments” that end up being the “big moments” and knowing how very fleeting and rare they really are. We built this beautiful space for these very moments. We hope you get to be intentional, slow down time and fill your heart with a little light!

Little Lights was built with intention. From the design of the building, your cocktail hour overlooking the beautiful rolling hills, high-pitched ceilings, little nooks & seating areas to the simple decor that will match any theme.
We have hand-crafted this modern, Scandinavian-inspired wedding venue to provide an exceptional wedding experience. When comparing design & service, Little Lights on the Lane is one of the best wedding venues in Iowa.
It started as a dream for our Owner, Erin back when she was just a kid. After years of wedding research, visiting venues, working with planners, and studying Scandinavian buildings and atmospheres, Little Lights on the Lane was born.
That dream has grown immensely and the venue + team continue to grow, as do our offerings for your day. Our team has worked over 1000+ weddings and it’s a palpable difference. Although we have a Pinterest worthy venue, our team cares about you and your day and that stands out even more.

We create the intentional space, remove the stress, make your guests feel welcome, and keep the drinks flowing and the ambiance glowing. With no limitations on catering services and an in-house bar served by ELDR - there is no need to do the work yourself.
Little Lights is all about limiting stress which is why we also designed our porch as a rain-backup outdoor ceremony location that seats our full capacity.
Make the most of your budget with our free in-house decor rentals and quarterly open house events onsite! Our handcrafted farmhouse tables and modern black metal chairs go great with any style and included with the venue rental.
