Booking a Wedding Venue That Includes Decor

Are you overwhelmed with the choices of wedding venues and decor rental options during your wedding planning process? Or just newly engaged and unsure where to start? At Little Lights on the Lane we strongly believe in including as much as we can into our venue and/or coordination price. Trust us, we know it seems like a lot at the start (picture a dad’s sticker shock face). However, we include a large Something Borrowed closet filled with candles, table numbers, votives, card boxes and more for all of our couples to use free of charge. We also offer what we call Lane Collective luxury rentals to our Coordination couples at no extra cost and at a fee to all of our other couples. Our handmade tables + chairs are always included at no fee, as well.

Something Borrowed Closet

We are VERY proud of our Something Borrowed Closet - and often newly booking couples are shocked to hear we have it. It includes, but is not limited to:

• Arbors

• Bud Vases

• Candle Holders

• Card Boxes

• Easels

• Lanterns

• Neon Signs

• Signage

• Table numbers

• Tealights

• Vases

• Votives

The Something Borrowed closet eliminates the need of costly outside rentals, last minute orders for decor, items forgotten or delivery costs (and coordination) of decor from outside vendors. While it is great for couples on a budget, we love to emphasize the simplicity and ease of use for couples at every price point. We finalize what you will be using from the Something Borrowed closet at our in-house one month and two month meetings.

Lane Collective Rentals

A newer offering for our venue, but we are still just as excited to begin offering luxury rentals. These items are a bit more elevated from the Something Borrowed closet. It includes, but is not limited to:

• Cross-back wooden chairs

• Gold beaded chargers for your head table

• Loveseats

• Modern black shelving

• White arched champagne shelf

• White arched backdrop (great for seating charts!)

• White dance floor

• White pedestals (great for florals for the ceremony!)

• Rugs

• Velvet chairs

Lane Collective rentals once again emphasize the ease of use by utilizing them from the venue. Free of charge for our coordination couples, we also set the decor up and help our coordination couples create a customized floor plan and mood board for their guest count and preferences. We send out the full link to all of this decor to our LL Couples, post booking.

It is important to ask these questions to your venue of choice if it is required of you as a couple to bring these items in or if decor is included. These questions can also save you from feeling like you could have allocated your budget to a different area (such as catering or florals!) by working out your decisions beforehand.
