Little Lights Tips to Planning a Stress-Free Wedding
Newly engaged and wondering where to start?! π
In the spirit of August being National Wellness Month, we have a few helpful tips for you πππΌ
β¨ Prioritize what is most important to you and your partner.
Maybe this is time to talk with guests during dinner or maybe this looks like you two taking a private moment alone. This prioritization will prevent you from trying to fit too much into the day. This also prevents the day from not feeling true and authentic to you.
β¨ Pick professional, experienced vendors who you love & will do a great job.
Do you feel like your vendors are the right fit personality wise? Will they help you run your timeline and how much experience do they have doing so? After booking, we provide our couples with a complete, recommended vendor list. These are vendors within every area and price point who we see consistently do a great job at Little Lights and assist with managing the flow of the day (and guests!).
β¨ Create a Plan B with your venue and donβt sweat the small stuff.
Does your venue have a rain backup plan or coordination packages? Will your venue or coordination team assist with executing your plan B? Let your venue or coordinator worry about the weather (why we love our covered porch so much!) - no need to stress about what you canβt control. However, a new venue does not always mean experience with these hiccups, so always do your research! You may not remember your seating chart or other stressors, but you will remember that sweet moment when you say βI Do!βπ€
Our main goal is to make sure you are present and treasure every minute! Reach out to a Little Lights team member at hellolittlelightsevents@gmail.com to ask any questions, ease your mind and learn how our coordination options can guide you through every step of the process!
